Crispy battered fish with golden french fries

🥘Ingredients
- ✓2 fish fillets (200g each)
- ✓4 medium potatoes
- ✓1 cup flour
- ✓250ml beer or sparkling water
- ✓1 tsp baking powder
- ✓2 cloves garlic, minced
- ✓Salt and pepper
- ✓Vinegar for serving
- ✓Oil for frying

Cut potatoes into chips and soak in water

Heat oil to 180°C and fry chips until golden, drain and salt

Whisk flour, baking powder, beer, garlic, salt, and pepper for batter

Pat fish dry and coat with flour

Dip in batter and deep fry until golden (4-5 minutes)

Drain on paper towels

Serve with chips, vinegar, and tartare sauce
